- You will also take responsibility for the IT infrastructure, integrating servers into the network and configuring systems. Together with project partners and stakeholders, you will test your solutions in real-world field trials and technology demonstrations. You will also share your findings with the international research community through publications and conference presentations.
- Research and development of physical communication topologies (e.g., point-to-point radio links, mesh networks) in a multi-sensor network (optical, sonar, DAS, AIS, etc.)
- The research focuses on the optimization and resilience (e.g. Jamming) of the network while addressing the varying requirements of different sensor types
- Configuration and administration of the network, including installation and operation of servers
- Execution, evaluation, and analysis of field experiments and technology demonstrations, including collaboration with stakeholders to validate and optimize the network
- Acting as a system/software engineer for the integration of individual sensors, in close cooperation with and support of various research teams
- Publication of research results in scientific journals and presentation at conferences
